Founder of Kenny Kares LLC. My mission is to guide families and veterans toward clarity, dignity, and peace of mind through thoughtful end-of-life pre-planning.
After many years in the life insurance industry, I was introduced to the world of funeral pre-planning in 2016. That experience profoundly shifted my understanding of what true preparation means. I realized that while many families believe they are protected, few fully understand the distinction between life insurance and formally pre-planning their final wishes.
I also witnessed the unique challenges veteran families face. While the VA provides honorable cemetery benefits, funeral services often remain an unexpected out-of-pocket expense. In some of life’s most tender and emotional moments, families are left navigating financial pressure, urgent decisions, and uncertainty.
That reality made this work deeply personal.
I believe pre-planning is not merely an administrative task — it is a profound act of love. It is a conscious decision made today that protects your family tomorrow. It transforms confusion into clarity, burden into relief, and stress into space for remembrance and celebration.
